Biology first, saw second. Cut wrong and you can do real, sometimes fatal, damage to a tree. We prune to remove risk and improve health and form.
Branches dead, dying, or diseased
CleaningCanopy too dense for light and air
ThinningLow limbs over a drive, walk, or view
RaisingTree too large for its place, or near lines
ReductionCleaning. Removing dead, dying, or diseased branches before they become a hazard.
Thinning. Selective branch removal that opens the canopy to more light and airflow.
Raising. Lifting lower branches for clearance over driveways, walkways, and sightlines.
Reduction. Sizing a tree down, often for line clearance, while preserving its structure.
Nota bene: spike-less by default. Spikes puncture a tree's cambium, its vascular system, leaving it open to infection. We only strap on spikes for removals, never for live pruning work.
As recorded on Google Reviews, where the crew holds a 5.0 average.
Removed a difficult, leaning oak that threatened a neighbor's yard — quickly, and without a hitch. Courteous crew from start to finish.
Came out fast after a storm to quote damaged trees, then left the yard cleaner than they found it. Already planning to have them back.
Took down two large, older trees over the summer — organized, hard-working, and thorough about cleanup. Wouldn't hesitate to hire again.
Free estimate up front so we knew exactly what to expect, then trimmed our tree, bushes, and hedge — no surprise add-ons, no pressure. Exceeded what we were expecting.
Handled a genuinely dangerous tree in our yard with real skill — and honestly kind of fun to watch. Zero issues afterward.
